These terms apply when you buy from thebloomsmith.ie or book anything with us. Please read them before you order. If anything is unclear, get in touch and we will happily explain.
1. Who we are
The Bloomsmith is a registered business name of Primal Produce Ltd, a company registered in Ireland (company number 672058, registered office Colp East, Co. Meath). Our VAT number is IE3696945DH.
You can contact us by email at nick@thebloomsmith.ie or by phone or WhatsApp on 085 841 0390. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Primal Produce Ltd trading as The Bloomsmith, and "you" means the person placing the order.
2. Your order
When you place an order you will get an email acknowledging it. Our contract with you starts when we confirm the order by email. If we can't accept your order, for example because a workshop is full or we can't deliver to your address, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
All prices are in euro and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. We take payment by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
If we make an obvious mistake with a price, we will contact you before going ahead, and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
3. Our flowers
Our flowers are grown on our farm and are seasonal, so what we send depends on what is at its best that week. Photos on the website show the style and quality you can expect, but every bucket is different. Where a flower or colour isn't available we will use something of equal or better value.
Cut flowers are natural and perishable. To get the best from them, recut the stems and put them in clean, fresh water as soon as they arrive.
4. Delivery and collection
We deliver to Meath, Louth, Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare on orders of โฌ40 or more (including VAT), and the charge for your area is shown at checkout. You can also collect from the farm free of charge. For larger orders elsewhere in Ireland, please contact us first.
We will agree a delivery day with you. Please make sure someone is there to receive the flowers, or tell us a safe, sheltered place to leave them. Once delivered to the address or place you gave us, the flowers are your responsibility. If we can't deliver because nobody is available and there is no safe place, we will contact you to rearrange, and we may charge for a second delivery.
We will always try to deliver on the agreed day, but bad weather, road conditions or other events outside our control can cause delays. If that happens we will let you know as soon as we can.
5. Subscriptions
Our flower subscription (Bucket of Blooms) runs weekly, fortnightly or monthly until you cancel. The price per delivery and the delivery charge are taken automatically from your card before each delivery, and you can see your next payment date in your account.
You can pause, change or cancel your subscription at any time from your account on our website, or by contacting us. To stop the next delivery, please do this at least 48 hours before the next payment is due. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
If we need to change the price of a subscription, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, so you can cancel before the new price applies if you wish. If a payment fails, we will let you know and pause deliveries until it is sorted out.
6. Workshops
Workshop places are for the date and time you book. Each person taking part needs their own place. Children under 16 are welcome with an adult, who is responsible for them throughout the workshop.
Workshops take place on a working farm, partly outdoors. We use tools such as scissors, secateurs and wire, and some plants can irritate sensitive skin. Please follow the guidance we give on the day, and let us know before you book if you have any allergies or access needs, so we can help.
Our cancellation policy for workshops is set out in our Refund Policy. Directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
7. Flower farm programme
The 12-month flower farm programme can be paid monthly or in full. If you pay monthly, you can cancel future payments at any time from your account or by contacting us, and your access to the programme ends at the end of the month you have paid for. If you pay in full, the refund terms are in our Refund Policy.
The programme shares our own experience and advice. Every farm, site and season is different, and decisions about your own business remain yours. We can't guarantee any particular result.
8. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers can be used to pay for anything on our website, and can be used over more than one order until the balance is used up. They are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. Vouchers can't be exchanged for cash, and we can't replace a voucher code that has been used by someone else, so please keep it safe.
9. Cancellations, refunds and problems with an order
Our Refund Policy explains your cancellation rights and what to do if something is wrong with your order. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
10. Business customers
If you are buying for a business, for example a florist, hotel, restaurant or office, these terms apply too, except that consumer cancellation rights don't apply to business purchases. For trade orders we may agree different prices and payment terms with you in writing.
11. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for any business losses such as loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12. Your information
We use the information you give us to process your order, deliver your flowers, run your booking and contact you about it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after your information.
13. Using our website
The words and photos on this website belong to us and can't be copied for commercial use without our permission. We try to keep the website accurate and available, but can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
14. Complaints and the law
If you are unhappy with anything, please tell us first at nick@thebloomsmith.ie and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of your own country.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on the website when you placed it.
